"Matuedoi comes" confirmed a donation of property "quod rex Alanus antea atque Euuen nepos eius Sancte Mariæ Bilique episcopo in monacho sempiterno dederat" to the abbey of Redon by charter dated 25 Oct 913[1327]. He fled to England after the Danes invaded Brittany in 919: the Chronicle of Nantes records that "Mathuedoi comes de Poher" fled "ad regem Anglorum Adelstanum" with "filium suum…Alanum"[1328]. m --- de Bretagne, daughter of ALAIN I "le Grand" Duke of Brittany & his wife Oreguen --- .
