"Teinardi castellani de Brodburc, Heinrici filii eius…" signed the charter dated 1119, before 17 Jun, under which Baudouin VII Count of Flanders confirmed the possessions of Saint-Bertin[1044]. "Themardi Broburgensis castellani…Bernoldi de Insula…" signed a charter dated 22 Jun 1121 under which Charles Count of Flanders donated property to the monastery of Bourbourg[1045]. The Vita Karoli Comitis Flandriæ records that "Theinardum Brugburgensem castellanum" was killed during the rebellion against Charles Count of Flanders[1046].
