The Continuatio Admuntensis records the marriage of Emperor Friedrich in 1156 to "Beatricem filiam Reginoldi comitis" after repudiating "filia Diepoldi marchionis"[83]. She succeeded her father in [1148/49] as BEATRIX Ctss [Palatine] de Bourgogne, under the regency of her uncle Guillaume. The latter attempted to usurp her titles but was defeated by Emperor Friedrich I, who later married Béatrix.
