"Heinricus comes de Rupe" donated property to the abbey of St Hubert by charter dated 1152 which names "matris mei Mathildis comitisse et Godefridi fratris mei"[144]. Her origin is determined from a charter dated 1148 in which Wibald abbot of Stavelot names "dominis suis Heinrico de Rupe et Heinrico de Lemburch quorum alter, id est de Rupe, advocatus ecclesie nostre erat et alterius Heinrici amite filius"[145], the former being Henri [II] Comte de La Roche and the latter Hendrik II Duke of Limburg.
